Therapy for adults ready to stop repeating patterns and find ways to cope that feel better.

You’re navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck in patterns you don’t want. Maybe it’s tension with a partner, difficulties at work, complicated family dynamics, or just a sense that something needs to change.

You cope in ways that help in the moment but leave you with regret or knowing you need something different.

You’re looking for a therapist who will see you fully and create real safety. Someone who takes deep interest in you, holds space with care, and will be honest when there are concerns. Not an authority telling you what to do, but a caring presence as you find your own best ways forward.

Skilled, experienced care for anxiety, trauma, and relationship patterns

Since 2009, I’ve worked with people who are thoughtful, socially aware, and genuinely trying. People who care about the world and show up for others, while quietly struggling inside. They often come in already knowing a lot about themselves. What brings them to therapy is that some things feel clear while others remain confusing. Parts of themselves feel at odds, and despite genuinely caring and trying in their relationships, something still isn’t working.

I work with adults across New York State via telehealth, and in person in Brooklyn.

I’ve learned how to break overwhelming things into manageable pieces. How to identify when multiple things are operating at once. How to see what’s underneath, like when shame is driving something, when old family patterns are showing up, when the world’s unfairness is part of what you’re carrying.

Working with what’s hard to put into words

Some of the most important work happens with things you can’t quite articulate yet.

Maybe it’s feelings that seem like you’re not allowed to have. Maybe it’s something you know but aren’t ready to say out loud. I know how to work with that space, holding it carefully while you discover what’s true for you and what you need.

Services:

Individual Therapy

Interactive therapy that helps you gain clarity, calm anxiety, and find more ease. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and relational approaches, weaving them together based on what you need.

I’m warm, real, and sometimes we’ll laugh together. That’s part of the work too. Therapy doesn’t have to be rigid or overly serious to be effective.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

KAP offers a different way of working, using altered states and symbolic exploration alongside therapy. Some people are drawn to this approach because they want to explore from a new vantage point, seek longer sessions, or because working with intentional, experiential processes resonates with how they want to do their healing work.

I offer KAP both as a stand-alone service and to some of my ongoing therapy clients. If you already work with a therapist who doesn’t offer KAP, I can collaborate with them to support your process. Learn more about ketamine assisted psychotherapy

Consultation/Supervision for Therapists

You’re working with complex trauma and developmental trauma, and you want support thinking deeply about the work. Maybe you’re navigating dissociation in sessions, struggling with fee conversations, working on boundaries, or creating anti-oppressive interventions that truly honor your clients’ identities and lived experiences.

I provide consultation for therapists who want a trauma-informed, intersectional lens on their work and the challenges of running a practice. Email at quai [@] discoverspace.me or book at this link to discuss consultation.

Anxiety, relationship patterns, and

the hard stuff that keeps showing up

People ready to work on what keeps getting in the way

You’re dealing with anxiety, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck in patterns you don’t want. Maybe you know you over-give but can’t stop, or you’re not sure why your relationships feel draining. Perhaps you’re navigating a breakup, a difficult work situation, or trying to understand why the hard things keep happening.

You need someone who can work with the complexity, meeting you where you are, whether you’re trying to figure out what’s happening or you’ve identified patterns but haven’t been able to shift them yet.

People navigating systemic and identity-based stress

Some of the people I work with are navigating systemic oppression as people of color, LGBTQIA+ folks, people with mixed backgrounds, or facing other forms of marginalization. I bring an intersectional lens to this work – understanding that identity, power, and lived experience shape what you’re dealing with and what you need. I’m committed to lifelong learning about experiences and perspectives outside my own.

I also work with people doing creative or social justice work, or trying to make a shift with the path they are on.

👥 Let’s see if this might be right for you

I work with adults across New York State via telehealth. For in-person sessions in Brooklyn, reach out to discuss availability.

The consultation call
We’ll start with a free 20-minute phone call. This isn’t an evaluation or intake. It’s just an informal conversation about what you’re looking for and whether it makes sense to meet for an initial appointment. We’ll discuss:

  • What brings you to therapy
  • Questions you have about my approach and how I hold space for this work
  • Logistics: scheduling, fees, and using insurance.

Fees

Individual therapy: $200-$275 per session
Consultation for therapists: $200 per hour

If cost is a barrier and you feel like we’d be a really good fit based on what you’ve read here, reach out anyway. I want to see if we can make it work, whether that’s through sliding scale, exploring what your out-of-network insurance might cover, or finding another solution.

Insurance

I’m an out-of-network provider. I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, and insurance is notoriously confusing! If we decide we’re a good fit to work together, I can look into what your insurance might cover and help you understand the process.

How we begin

Reach out to schedule a consultation call. If we both think it makes sense to meet, we’ll schedule a couple of initial weekly sessions. Then we’ll take time to talk about whether the work is feeling right for you. If so, great – we’ll continue meeting regularly. If not, no problem. It’s good to feel that out, and you can continue your search with more clarity about what you’re seeking.

💬 If this resonates, let’s talk.
